Prussian born Raphael Tuck moved to England and created a dynasty of printed lithographs and postcards which is still recognized for it's excellence today. A booming industry in the late 1800's and early 1900's, Raphael Tuck and Sons were the leaders in their field. This lovely little artwork reproduction is from one of their very earliest gilded postcards. A group of curious children set out looking for Santa Claus by candle light; every bump in the night is a cause for fright. You'll work simple stitches in cotton flosses to create this long out of production set of ornaments from Hallmark's 1978 series. Suitable for beginning stitchers too! Be sure to see the coordinating picture that goes with them! Simply adorable!
