She is surrounded by a border of golds and vining floral greenery, accented with beads and specialty stitches.  Day is my attempt to capture in human form what I feel could be the essence of day. As humans, most of our activity is naturally concentrated into a few very hectic daylight hours, which pass all too quickly." Worked on 27 count evenweave fabric with beaded elements, this piece is suggested for the stitcher with some previous experience in intermediate level work. Loaded with quarter stitches, and blended floss colors, this piece has simple specialty stitches of square eyelet, diagonal satin which add some variety to the stitching process
