Jayne Mayhew’s gorgeous artistry captures a close up look at the famous Camargue Horses of Southern France. Often shown dramatically running through water as an advertising campaign for the Camargue region, these are little horses who pack big power! Famous for their gray color which is derived from black skins beneath white hair coats. These famous and romantically portrayed "Chevaux de Camargue" are the traditional mount of the gardians–the Camargue "cowboys" who herd the black Camargue bulls used in bullfighting in southern France. An absolute must for the horse enthusiast!
