When she was introduced to needlepoint by a friend in 1995,famed textile artist Orna Willis said "I realized needlepoint was a chance to really explore art and design in a serious way." Orna was born in Israel and lived in Tel Aviv and the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Michigan. From her immaculate studio with sweeping views of a natural landscape, Orna now creates her spectacular designs, often borrowing the rich hues and vibrant colors visible from her window.

A textured needlepoint piece, like all of Orna’s design, with her trademark simple one word name.
