This enchanting Hummel stitchery is inspired by Sister Berta Hummel which have captured the hearts of young and old around the world.
Sister Hummel loved children; as a young girl she showed extraordinary talent that blossomed early. Sister Hummel formed a partnership with Goebel which resulted in the production of her exquisite designs into various forms including the famous figurines and paintings.
We are pleased and proud to present Sister Hummel’s talents in this delightful crewel design, entitled Boy with Bird.

This kit contains: Stamped picture on superb 50% polyester and 50% cotton homespun approx. 12” x 15”, Felt appliqués of 80% yaron and 20% wool, Persian yarn of 100% Orlon acrylic, “peri-lusta” Filo 100% cotton embroidery thread, needle, and complete easy to follow instructions with diagrams including most popular stitches.
