DMC's tradition of supplying beautiful yarns of the highest caliber is over 200 years old. Generations of stitchers have enjoyed learning new techniques of stitchery and have been inspired by designs that DMC has supplied to stitchers worldwide.
Hardanger had it's origin in the European renaissance, when whitework was at the height of fashion. Deriving it's name from a district in Norway called Hardanger, this timeless embroidery method fits in with every decor style from vintage to contemporary. This beautiful and long out of production booklet Number 3 Hardanger, includes several projects of medium and larger size from square doilies and curtain borders, to classic table runners.
* Note* Best suited for a beginner which has had the experience of stitching a couple projects, to understand basic technique, as well as the more experienced stitcher. This is a tri-lingual book that has detailed charts, but the directions don't go in depth.
Included with the kit, is a set of hardanger flosses by DMC, designed to get you started on any of the projects described within the leaflet, and the magazine style set of patterns. * Note* You'll need to supply your own fabric, size will depend on which project you choose, if you need assistance, we can help with that.
