  1. Do you have a catalog?


    We're sorry, we do not offer a printed catalog of our items at this time .

    Much like a vintage or antique shop with a varied selection, we specialize in vintage rare and hard to find contemporary stitchery crafts which come in and out of stock quite quickly.

     Our online sites serve as our catalog; you can peruse each and every one of them, and know that anything that shows as available for purchase is in stock and ready for immediate shipment. These items can change daily or weekly; much too quickly for an accurate printed catalog.

  2. Do you offer estate reductions or consignment sales?


    Yes we do! Please feel free to contact us at TLAustin@AustintatiousOfferings.com. We offer estate consignments, occasionally will offer estate buyouts, or we can also arrange consignment auction sales for you at our eBay site when we have openings.  We also offer needlework store buyouts if you're a shop owner who's decided to retire from needlework sales. We're happy to help you find friendly homes for your no longer needed stitchery items!

  3. Do you recommend any products to help me stitch these kits?


    Yes we do! 

    Many vintage kits are without needles due to oxidation issues and simply the age of the kits. If you are in need of needles appropriate for the kit, please let us know,we'll be happy to provide you one!

     If you are need of stretcher frames, hoops, daylight lamps, etc, please let us know. We are able to procure these for you from our supplier and can have them delivered promptly for your stitching convenience.

  4. Do you sell finished products or kits only?


    We are purveyors of vintage rare and contemporary stitchery craft KITS. We're pleased to be able to offer the beginning and experienced stitcher alike a wide range of options to unleash their creativity. On occasion, we are asked to complete an item for someone ~ please ask; we may be able to find a stitcher with the appropriate expertise to help you get your treasure finished. Service availability differs depending on staff project list, and is not a part of the regular service we offer. We do NOT sell finished products often, except as an estate dispersal,  but are happy to work with you to provide your vintage textile needs.

  5. Do you share my personal information with anyone?


    NO! At Austintatious Offerings we respect your privacy. We know you're here to purchase products you want with quickness and ease; Not to join book clubs or movie rental places or the like.

    We may contact you from time to time with special offers here at our site.  We may send you discount coupons via postal mail on occasion.  If you would prefer NOT to have these mailed to you when they become available just let us know.

    We do NOT give your information to any parties at all. You have your choice of payment preferences~ Google Checkout and PayPal are online payment sites that protect your privacy and payment information. Any questions? Please ask. We're here to serve you!

  6. Do You Take Any Orders By Phone?


    We do not take any orders or questions via phone. All sites have quick and easy checkout processes which will enable you to pay for your purchase immediately online with our CRE secure checkout, or paypal checkout using your credit card. You also have the option to place your order and pay via postal mail.

    We're happy to answer any inquiries via email prior to your purchases. Please check your spam filter settings to allow emails from our email addresses. Questions will be processed via email only.

  7. How can I get to my Wishlist?


    We're so glad you asked! This is an interesting and fun little feature offered by our site tech dept. Anytime you want to access your wishlist, you'll need to 'place' an item into it. This will pull up all the items that you've stored, and enable you to "move" them to your shopping cart.

    You'll also be able to email yourself, (or your stitching friends) a copy of your list for quick and easy access !

  8. How do I find something specific for which I'm searching?


    We have several available search tools here on the site. Feel free to use the search bar on the left side of the page, or click at the top far right 'Quick Find'. We do our best to keep the site updated and easy to use. If you're having trouble, please do email us, we'll do our best to help you find your stitching treasure!   10. How do we know if an item is in stock?


    All items listed are ready for immediate purchase ~ if you don't see something for which you're searching, please jot us an email and we'll be happy to check our inventory for you . 

    * If, in the case of unforeseeable technical or mechanical error an item was erroneously made available, we will refund your payment and contact you via email. We prefer not to tie up your funds while items are on backorder due to hard to find nature of majority of items. If an error like this arises, we will apprise you once the preferred item is again made available.

     

    ***Please note***

    When there is only one left of an item, and you attempt to purchase two or more of that kit, you will receive an Out of Stock Warning Note. Please try again with only one item in your cart for a successful purchase.

    If you happen to see an item which has an 'OUT OF STOCK' note on it it is possible that  this item has recently sold out and the inventory is updating. If this case arises, please feel free to contact us about when the item will be in stock again.  We're happy to start a wishlist for you if it's sold out!

    If you've seen it on our other website, just contact us and we'll gladly make it available for your purchase here.  We're here to serve! We specialize in custom searches for our stitchery clientele. With over 2000 kits in stock, we often have the very item for which you're searching. If we don't, our buyers will search worldwide to help locate your special request. Due to vintage / rare nature of most items, all sales are final & non-refundable.

  11. I don't see what I'm looking for; do you offer special request services?


    Yes! We know that our stitchery clientele often have something special on a wish list that's out of production, and a must have to complete a collection, or give as a special gift. Just email us with as many details about the item as you might have, and we'll be happy to place a special search on the piece for you. Please be aware that it may take several months or more, depending on how long your requested item has been out of stock.   12. I just bought something, and now I can't find it on your website again! Why is that?


    As noted, we're purveyors of vintage, rare, out of production designs; chances are if you bought it and you can't find it again, it means you purchased the last one available. Worried you won't get your order? Check your order history. We don't offer products for sale which we don't have, and work diligently to ensure our inventory control works as quickly as possible. If you've purchased the last kit of a certain kind, it should disappear so no one else can check out for it.

    Check your emails, and make sure your spam filters allow emails from us; we'll keep you apprised every step of the way, including shipping/tracking information once your payment has cleared to our accounts!

  13. What is your refund policy?


    Due to vintage / rare nature of most items, all sales are final & non-refundable. We're happy to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase. Email us anytime at customerservice@austintatiousofferings.com.

    All Stitchery items brand new in manufacturing packaging, unless otherwise indicated.Vintage Items Usually New and unopened in slightly shopworn packaging~condition unused and unstitched unless otherwise indicated. All Items are Sold As Is, in stored, vintage condition. Due to vintage Nature of Items, we Recommend A thorough Airing and cleaning prior to working them , should allergens be a concern to you.

     Many of these kits are more than 30 years old, and stitcher may prefer to launder according to manufacturer directions prior to stitching. Slight storage stains may happen on occasion , occasional slight canvas bleed from needlepoint canvases that are kitted with folded canvases,  and are to be expected with vintage kits, depending on the storage from original estate, and are taken into consideration with valuation of kit.  Many vintage stitchery enthusiasts also rinse and thouroughly dry wools and flosses in accordance with manufacturer suggestions to keep project fresh while working. We store all pieces in a smoke-free and pet free environment once they arrive at our facilities.

    *Note* If an event arises that an exchange must be made, items must be shipped back to us unopened and in condition sent at buyer's expense within 7 day time period. Returned for exchange items are subject to 35% re-stocking fee. Exchange refunds are processed as store credit only. As Noted, Special Request Orders are Not Considered Exchangeable Items. An item sent back without prior communication may not be credited; please contact us via email to ensure that you will receive credit. Opened items will not be credited to your account if sent back without prior email communication No exceptions. Absolutely No Exchanges/Refunds on Charts or Patterns. No Exceptions.

  14. Can I copy your listing to sell a similar item on another site?


    No You May Not Copy our Intellectual Property. Please contact us via email if you need information regarding a vintage kit. While we are happy to help out, our photo and listing work is subject to copyright laws which we do and will have enforced. Copyright laws protect the artist, manufacturer, and purveyors. Use of our intellectual property is subject to licensing fees which will be assessed; written licensing permission required prior to use. No Exceptions.

  15. I don't like to sort the floss for my stitching kits, can you do it for me?


    Yes we can! We offer sorting/labeling service for those of our clients who do not enjoy the process. The cost varies depending on the kit size/type, starting at $15 for basic Dimensions and Bucilla Cross Stitch Kits, and going up in cost to $100 for large, custom exotic manufacturer kits.

    Just ask us at the time of your order, and we will send you a separate invoice for the added charge ( per kit). Once service invoice is paid, we'll sort and label your flosses for you, then prepare kit for shipping. We're happy to serve!
