 A sweet, inspirational moment is captured on a late winter evening in this incredibly hard to find needlepoint stocking design by the inimitable Nancy Rossi. Two small children stand in the warm golden glow of the family fireplace where stockings and garland are hung with care. Slowly the little girl reaches toward the Nativity scene to touch the sleeping baby Jesus figure and wonder at the simple tenderness shown on the faces of Mary, Joseph and the surrounding figures. A sleeping cat doesn't stir at the feet of this young duo. Absolutely enchanting, and long out of production, this rare estate beauty arrived opened and unworked. We've replaced shrinkwrap to keep clean and ready to work; what an amazing find!
