The self written biography of world renown artist Willem Haenraets is a fascinating read. He chronicles in no-nonsense fashion the ups and downs of his life, including the loss of a spouse in a car accident, and death of a business partner due to illness, as well as his triumphs in the worldwide arena of art galleries and showcases. His soft, romantic portraits are highly sought the world over, and his early works are very hard to find. This early piece is one based on art he sold to a German Needlepoint Canvas making company called BTW. Sensuously slumped across the opened door of a luxurious sportscar, this is a bombshell on the level of a Marilyn Monroe or Jean Harlow; absolutely stunning, relaxed, and ready for fun! Long out of production, this canvas is in excellent vintage condition, a worldclass quality canvas equal with the gorgeous Rico Gobelin tapestries.Simply Beautiful!
