An authentic Jacobean crewel embroidery design from the collection of famed Needlework Author, Lecturer, Designer & Quilting Expert Florence Peto (known as "Florrie") . Soft, swirling florals along with the smallest of critters; dragonflies, bees, etc, or stamped on a sturdy, closely woven ecru "Crewel Tex" preshrunk textured part linen fabric specially created for crewel wool embroidery.
Although the chair seat and chair back kits were sold separately, a wise needle artist placed both the Chair Seat and Chair Back and wools into the same packaging, resulting in an exceptional find for the crewel enthusiast.
Rarely found on today’s stitchery market, this fabulous vintage stitchery find comes newly repackaged in shrinkwrap. Once you’ve stitched the seat and back, we suggest procuring the assistance of a professional upholsterer, or an avid hobbyist who can help you make your chair a showpiece for your home.
